About

I’m a freelance photographer based in the Chicagoland area, with a passion for visual storytelling rooted in travel, curiosity, and connection. My relationship with photography began in childhood—my camera was always close at hand during frequent travels, capturing landscapes that slowly turned into portraits, candids, and the everyday moments that tell deeper stories.

I'm self-taught, constantly growing through hands-on work and invaluable feedback from photo editors and seasoned mentors. Over time, I’ve built a body of work that reflects my love for documenting people, culture, events, and environments with honesty and care.

My photography has been published in student newspapers, and I'm currently working toward a staff position in the world of news, culture, or the arts. Until then, I continue to build my portfolio through full-time freelance work—always looking for the next story worth telling.

Outside of photography, I’m a big fan of pets (all of them), good books, music that gets stuck in your head, and a perfectly brewed cup of coffee or tea!
